Forum: classic_tv Subject: I do not understand the logic of this.

So, UCLA has a bunch SUPER RARE of early 1970s ABC (US) newscasts, but lacks the equipment needed to play them (this presumtion is based on a comment made on each listing..."Unplayable on archive equipment"). Same with episodes of the ABC version of "Password" and other SUPER RARE series.

I do not understand the logic of holding episodes of a SUPER RARE television series but not having equipment to play the recordings back.

Unless I have misunderstood something here as usual.

As you can tell I like using the term "SUPER RARE". Every time I use it, a demon gets its wings.
